Wagner Smith is a self-taught artist who discovered a passion for illustration and painting through reading Marvel comic books.
As the youngest child of a large family, without many opportunities at hand, nowhere to learn, or anyone to teach him how to draw, Wagner’s only option was to learn alone.
Driven by curiosity and a sense of self-improvement, his style developed and matured over the years. His first drawing and painting technique was with Indian ink, but he eventually became a master in watercolors and eventually in acrylic on canvas. His artwork focuses primarily on the human form, abstracts, and natural environments.
Wagner graduated in Social Communication with a degree in Multimedia. He also has ample experience in visual communication, where he stood out especially in the areas of illustration and graphic design; this allowed him to work with digital media and digital painting. He often experiments with new techniques and styles because he believes that his art, as well as his relentless interest in learning, must have no limits.
Wagner is originally from Belém, Brazil, but lives in Orlando, Florida.
